CUSTOM BUILT, FULLY EQUIPPED, POWERED CATERING POD COMPLETE WITH EQUIPMENT


We are offering for auction a unique opportunity to own a complete, fully functioning catering pod. This bespoke and custom made pod is fully powered with all electrical connections, circuit breakers, side cabinets, exhaust fans and commercial              catering equipment included.

Manufactured and kitted out in February of this year at a cost of well over 70,000 GBP, this pod has had less than 2 months actual usage due to the current situation regarding Covid-19.

Sold as a complete working catering pod this represents a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to branch out into the lucrative street food market.

The pod and internal equipment is supplied disassembled making it easier to collect and transport for the winning bidder (instructions from the manufacturer will be supplied)

     Pod Specifications:

  • Catering Pod 4600mm x 2440mm x 3035mm high.
  • Sitting on 12 Caster wheels. Each can be locked into sockets to prevent turning and rolling. Blocked up to keep level.
  • Pod made from exterior water proof ply and clad in yellow Formica.
  • Interior lined with 6mm mdf/melamine board.
  • 4 roof vents, 2x static and 2 with fans.
  • Top half of front face made in 3 sections of 5mm tinted perspex.
  • One section with opening for access and perspex infill to close at night with 9x bolts and wing nuts on the inside.
  • Hinged door on lower half with Yale Lock.


     Internal Catering Equipment Included:

  • 2 X Electric Combi Oven 1/2 & 2/3 GN - Convotherm (Welbilt) Model No. OES6:06 MINI M (230v/50/60/1ph, 3.0 kW)
  • Stainless Steel low level stand on caster for combi ovens + stacking kit for two combi ovens.
  • Ventilation canopy - Lincat Model No. L3 Stainless Steel ( 0.35 kW, 1.5 amps, 230v/50/60/1?ph, CE)
  • Stainless steel wall table with void under on casters.
  • Refrigerated countertop pan rail - Williams Refrigeration Model No HTW9-SS (220?240v/50/1ph, 1.25 amps, standard)

Condition Report:

Please note that the pod and all the equipment is supplied disassembled. 

The pod and equipment is of a modular design and has been built to be assembled and disassembled to transport. Instructions and guidelines from the manufacturer will be supplied to the wining bidder. 

The winning bidder will be wholly responsible for the collection and transportation of the pod and equipment from Simon Charles Auctioneers, Corrie Way, Bredbury Industrial Estate, SK6 2ST.

The winning bidder will be responsible for sourcing the correct sized vehicle for collection and the removal of all components from site.
