Questions from other bidders
Hi there, from the description can you please tell me, are these trainers likely to be copies? Thanks in advance.

Hi, thank you for your enquiry, the disclaimer is there because the Vendor cannot provide any authenticity for these items. We advise all prospective purchasers to take advantage of our Viewing times, today 11.30 - 12.30 for this auction, to decide for themselves the condition, authenticity & suitability of the items offered.

Hi there. Thanks for your response. As much as I would like to attend the viewing, I’m in Glasgow so it’s not possible therefore I wouldn’t be able to bid on any of these without having a decent idea that they are genuine :-/ if the vendor is trying to sneakily sell fakes through this though then that’s very underhanded and he should be reported in an instant if caught doin so as I’m sure he must know his source and would therefore just be trying to rip people off. Thanks again and all the best,

Hi, I can categorically state that this Vendor is not deliberately trying to pass off counterfeit or fake goods. This disclaimer is to cover ourselves and the Vendor and to make prospective customers aware that no guarantees or warranties are offered or implied by the use of trade names in our descriptions or pictures. I am sorry if this all sound heavy handed and official, but it is a general rule of any auction that 'Buyer beware' is the way items are offered. I am not able to describe an item as genuine, unless the Vendor is prepared to provide proof, and the majority of Vendors selling excess or returned stock require a quick and hassle free way to dispose of their stock, so sell on a 'sold as seen' basis. I hope this hasn't deterred you to much ! At the end of the day these items sell for a fraction of the retail price and there are certainly bargains to be had.
