SHADES DONATED BY DEAN FAIRHURST VOCALIST AND GUITARIST FROM SLYDIGS Dean Fairhurst vocalist and rhythm guitar with Warrington rockn 'n' roll band SLYDIGS  In their live performances, Slydigs have managed to ensnare not only the belle ?poque of the Northern Music Scene, but have also captured beautifully their origins and influences to produce what can only be described as ?the most charismatic, modern day live act? out there today! The bands' influences range from the Rolling Stones to the Clash, from Bertolt Brecht to Hunter S. Thompson. Dean Fairhurst (the lead songwriter) fuses classic rock structures with tailor-made Rock & Roll Poetry intended for arenas around the world. It?s not just their music that burns with ambition, the four-piece have their eyes set on conquering the world and this year has seen the band take to the road in earnest, in an effort to convert new followers to their gospel of rock ?n? roll. Having already supported the likes of the iconic New York Dolls, The Fall, Alabama 3, Pete Doherty, Idlewild and The Rifles, Slydigs are no strangers to the live scene and see the stage as a home from home.
