Simon Charles Auctioneers & Valuers owned and operated by the Rothwell family who have over 80 years experience in the auction business is one of Europe’s largest and most established family auctioneers & valuers.

Auction Department

Operated from a 2 acre site, with 120,000 sq. feet consisting of five auction rooms and a huge backup storage facility complete with full automated dock levellers for fast artic turn around, the auction department is involved with weeky public and trade sales by auction, where you are now able to bid live online through a secure website, allowing you to listen in and view the auction as you bid. With over 2,000 lots of new upholstery and cabinet furniture, beds, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, TV’s, audio, digital equipment, computers, laptops, mobile phones, carpets, garden furniture, sports and leisure equipment, DIY goods, paintings, ceramics, jewellery, wine, fashion clothing and accessories and various other goods, going under the hammer every week and currently selling 4/5 million pound retail value of stock per week.

Current Clients

We act and sell for a large number of blue chip retail plc companies, importers, distributers, logistic companies and manufacturers worldwide. Many branded, well known names are included in our client list, which we are unable to mention due to confidentiality agreements with our clients.

Transport

We have our own fleet of vans managed by our own experienced drivers and ports to handle and collect your goods with required.

Storage

We have our own auctions with adequate back up free storage facilities if you need items moving immediately they become available.
